Outbuildings from the top of the tower

Visiting Ardnamurchan Lighthouse

Come and visit Ardnamurchan Point and take advantage of the facilities for visitors to the lighthouse, or just enjoy the peace and spectacular scenery at the most westerly point on the British mainland. If you don’t have the energy to climb to the top of the tower, you can enjoy the outlook from the viewing platform by the original air-powered fog horn, which is a well-established whale and dolphin watching area.

There is ample parking space in the two car parks. (Drivers of camper vans should use the upper car park only.) Refreshments are available throughout the day in the Coffee Shop in the old stable block, which also houses the toilet facilities for visitors.

Ardnamurchan Point is open to the public through the fund-raising efforts of the local community.
